Obituary of Mark Allen Speary
Age 64, of Mt. Morris passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at his home. In accordance with Mark's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at St, Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning officiating with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Mark's family will be present at church to receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of mass at 11:00 am. Mark was born in Flint, Michigan, on June 18, 1959, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Glenda (Waldron) Speary. Educated locally, Mark graduated from EAJ High School in Mt. Morris. Shortly after graduation, Mark would begin a career at McLaren-Flint; where he worked in the laundry room for 31-years, until his retirement. Mark enjoyed participating in church fundraising events. In his free time, Mark could be found crocheting, playing on his computer, watching TV sitcoms, attending comedy shows, and fishing at a lake.
Left to cherish his memory are his family: Laura (Jason) Fletcher, Julie (Larry) Smith, Jimmy (Shawn) Reaves, Jr., Jennifer Manyen-McCabe, Jimmy Reaves, Sr.; Robert (Lisa) Speary, Randy Speary, Jeff Sines; best friends and co-workers: Eva Muclung, and Sally Hoyt.
Mark was preceded in death his parents, cousin Nancy Reaves.
