Obituary of Steven Lee Walker
Age 56, of Flint, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at home. In accordance with Steven’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no further services scheduled at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Steven’s tribute page at martinfuneralhom.com.
Steven was born in Flint on March 19, 1967, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger and Mary Sue(Golden) Walker. Educated locally, Steven graduated from Genesee High School with the Class of 1983. Steven enjoyed traveling and loved to be on the road, so much so, he worked his entire career as a truck driver. He enjoyed tinkering on his '49 Ford Truck and could often be found working on it in the garage. Deer hunting was one of Steven's favorite pastimes, always looking forward to hunting annually on his father's property in Mio. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Steven's memory are his brother, Jim and wife, Melinda Walker; sister, Angie and husband, Fred Mason; several nieces, and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
