Dale was a great friend of mine and everyone in the class of 1959! He was always fun to be around always had a great laugh everybody enjoyed Dale. I remember one day one day I was over at the price house in Mount Morris and my mother served us a half a gallon of ice cream she put it on the table in the carton I opened it up took out a little dish of ice cream Dale didn't bother with the dish he ate out of the carton my mother came back and wondered where the ice cream went cuz she wanted some and I looked at Dale and Dale looked at her and my mother started laughing and said you ate the whole thing and Dale just smiled! That was Dale Radford.

I am so honored to have known Dale for the last 25 years. We met while I was walking my dog one day and we became very close friends. I shared great times visiting him enjoying a beer and sitting outside his home watching the local neighbors on our street. We shared dinners at his favorite place the Torch and attended various plays that he directed. I will miss him very dearly. He will always be in my heart and all the memories will stay with me until I see him again in heaven. Me, Phyllis, Tony, and Dale will have a blast together when I get there. Originally I knew Dale as an acquaintance at work in the maintenance shop. After I met Kelly and we became friends, I was surprised to learn that he was her dad after seeing him over to her house one day. Dale had a sense of humor and would come up with funny one-liners that would break a smile or even a belly laugh! Great imagination that man! Before this year when he lived in Fenton, I would work on him as a massage therapist. He loved having craniosacral work done and would relax so much that he would fall asleep every time. Just as we got started, I would ask him what kind of music he wanted in the background. At first he surprised me because he would say "something from a musical". So I'd go through his CDs, pick one and soon came to recognize what songs I had heard in the past went to what musical. It was very charming. Dale was a generous, kind and gentle soul. I will miss his soul and the spark in his eyes, that....still in my mind, keep him singing and dancing.

Much of our younger years as kids were the best of memories when we would visit the farm. It was magical, and Dale certainly added to the mystique. Great story teller, funny, always made us laugh. We will miss you cousin, certainly wished we could have spent more time together as adults… but we have those memories! Thank you, Love from cousin Ted to the family.
