Obituary of Pauline Rose Muron
Age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 13, 2023, surrounded by those who loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 noon, Thursday, October 19, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning to officiate, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Pauline’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Wednesday. At 7:00 pm, Wednesday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather to pray the Rosary. On Thursday morning, Pauline will be taken to church to lie in state from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Memorial contributions may be considered to Cranberry Park. Pauline was born on May 30, 1931, to Michael and Mary Karnjate in Clarksville, Pennsylvania. Pauline married Julian Muron and moved to Genesee, Michigan, and had five children. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Pauline received her Registered Nurses degree and worked at Hurley Hospital for 30 years. Pauline loved spending time with her family and enjoyed watching soap operas and Wuthering Heights.

Left to cherish Pauline’s memory are her five children: Kathleen and husband, Mark Mack, Michael and wife, Deborah, Julian II, William and wife, Mary Jo, Brian and wife, Rachel, and sister, Mitzie (Karnjate) Reider; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; as well as Ruby Evans, who was a dear friend of Pauline’s for 53 years.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Julian; parents, Michael and Mary; daughter, Pearl; brother, George; and two sisters: Mamie (Sterjar) and Julie (Bazik).
