Obituary of Jane Marie Judd
Age 72, of Clio died Saturday, October 6, 2023, at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan. In accordance with Jane’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no further services scheduled at this time. Jane was born in Flint on November 21, 1950, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Betty (Ward) Judd. Jane attended Flint Northern High School graduating with the Class of 1968. She went on to obtain her associate degree from Mott Community College and became a Registered Nurse. Jane worked for Hurley Medical Center for thirty years until her retirement. Nursing was very rewarding to her, and when asked if she would choose nursing as a career again, she always said yes. Jane was an avid reader and skilled seamstress. She loved to travel, explore nature, science, and art stamping. More recently she enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Local 3087 in Flint. She learned to play pool later in life and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Clio. Jane was a spiritual person and had a high moral and ethical standards. In her spare time, Jane enjoyed studying world history and religion and was at peace with her God.
Left to cherish Jane’s memory are her brother, Duane Judd of Mt. Morris; sister, Ellen Judd of Sterling Heights; niece, Amy (Kevin) Simons; nephew, Jeremy (Emma) Myers; long-time close friends: Carol and Bruce Deming of Colorado Springs, and many others.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Betty (Ward) Judd of Clio and sister, Kathryn Judd also of Clio.
