My dad was always such a goofball, he would come home from work all smelly and sweaty and instantly put me in the pit of doom which was putting my face in his armpit lol, he would be yelling this is the pit of doom!!! Over and over again! Another time he showed me and Brendan the one inch punch, he told Brendan put a pillow under his shirt and hold it there, next thing you know he does the one inch punch and there goes Brendan flying across our living room into the front door LOL! He is the reason I love soccer to this very day! He started coaching me when I was just 4 years old and coached me until I was 12! I coach kids now and I do some of the same drills he taught me as a kid! He got to see me play a few months ago, the first time seeing me play since I was 17 and I was just so happy he was there to support me!
As I started to go to his house as an adult we would bond over card games, movies and just talking about life! He was always such a sore loser or a sore winner, he was always saying the deck was rigged when he lost or when he won he would just talk so much smack, we’ve pretty much seen every marvel movie together and so many more, we would go to the movies and I would get sour strips, I would always try to give him a blue one, anyone who knows my dad knows he says blue taste disgusting, it’s never made sense to me but one of the last times we went I got him to eat a blue strip and he was like this is so good…. Until I told him it was blue, he’s like I knew it tasted funny, he would also make the best meals, yet every single time he said it will be better next time! He was never satisfied! I would call him on my long car rides, we would just talk about everything! He was always so interested in what I was up to and made me feel important! He always made time and he truly was the best dad! There wasn’t a thing he couldn’t he do! I miss you and I love you dad!!

Did you know.... My brother, Jimmy, at a very young age, could listen to a song for only a few minutes. Then, actually play it on an antique piano. I was amazed then, and still today of this phenomenal talent.
It is unfortunate that life got in the way of us being closer. We had so many shared interests.
Love you, Jimmy..

Him was the guy we could always count on. If we needed a laugh or help with a car. Fond memories!

I have so many fond memories of Jim. He would be at kids birthday parties and holiday gatherings. He did a lot of work around my house. One time he was doing a tile job and needed a sponge so I got him one from my kitchen LOL. It was so funny, we laughed but he used my tiny sponge anyway. He could make anything work. My son remembered Jim teaching him a trick with a quarter. Anytime I would call Jim, he would say, hey baby, how you doing?!” He was like a brother to me! Love you Jim! Tell my Mom hello!
RIP Jim

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Jim, but my son, Ryan worked with him at Artisian. He had nothing but kind words to say about him, and spoke about how great he was in training him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who knew him , and hope that your memories of Jim will help you get through these difficult days.
