Dianna was born in Monroeville, Indiana, on September 30, 1943, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Ruth (Farnsworth) Whitney. Educated locally, Dianna graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School with the Class of 1962. Dianna worked as a Manager for Walli's Restaurants for many years until her retirement. Growing up, Dianna played softball, even playing in a softball league for many years after high school. Dianna loved to sing, and dance and spent most of her free time in her younger years, ice skating and roller skating. Dianna was a wonderful mother and loved to watch her kids play football, baseball, and motocross, never missing a game. Spending time with her family in Florida where she could be out on the boat or swimming was one of her favorite pastimes. Dianna spent much time in her RV camping every summer at Manipogo Park in Indiana for family reunions. Fishing in Au Gres with her brother was one of her favorite memories. Another one of Dianna’s favorite pastimes was going to the casino. It didn’t matter which one, she loved them all. In her free time, she enjoyed watching TV shows like Dancing with the Stars, Days of Our Lives, Dick Clark and American Bandstand. She will be greatly missed.
