Obituary of Lisa Gale Cantrell
Age 60, of Clio, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at McLaren Flint with her family by her side. In accordance with Lisa's wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no further services scheduled at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Lisa’s tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.
Lisa was born in Flint on June 27, 1962, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Nella (Rowe) Cantrell. Lisa's career path would lead her to the Comfort Inn, where she was employed as a housekeeper for many years. She took great pride in her work. Lisa was blessed with two sons; her family was a great source of joy and pride. Caring for others, especially her four grandchildren, was important to Lisa. She enjoyed spending time with and playing with each of them. Meticulous about her yard and flower beds, Lisa enjoyed tending to her yard and flowers. She was especially proud of her red roses. You could always count on Lisa to lend a helping hand to those in need. An avid country music fan, Lisa enjoyed going to concerts at the local bars, where she knew several of the band members. In her free time, she also loved going to a good garage sale with her sister.
Left to cherish Lisa's memory are her two children: Michael Jolliff and Anthony and wife, Autumn Slayton; four grandchildren: Landyn, Hayden, Audrey, and Preston; siblings: Gesele and husband, Paul Ladiski, Theresea and husband, Greg McDaniels, Joey Cantrell; niece, Gina Cantrell; nephew, Jason Benett.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Randy Cantrell.
