Obituary of Larry Willis Brock
Age 71, of Mount Morris, passed away on January 20, 2023, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. In accordance with Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place; there are no further services scheduled at this time. Larry Willis Brock was born in Flint, on January 30, 1951, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Patricia (Schmidt) Brock. After completing his education, Larry heeded his country's call and proudly enlisted in the United States Army. Upon returning to civilian life, Larry was a dedicated employee of General Motors until his retirement in 2005. Larry was a faithful and devout Jehovah’s Witness and took comfort in his faith after the passing of his wife, Margie, in 2003. Larry was an animal lover, and his Yorkshire Terriers always held a special place in his heart. Woodworking and fishing were two of Larry’s favorite pastimes.
Left to cherish Larry's memory are his son, Scott and wife, Eliza Brock; daughter, Sharon and husband, Gordon Hill; grandchildren: Bethany, Zachary, Bradley, Maliyah, Gowan, Madison, Benjamin, Emmett, and Annabelle; brother, Jim and wife, Melinda; sister, Debbie; nieces: Jeanette and Joanne, and nephews: Anthony and Daniel.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Margie; and brothers: Ronald and David.
