Sheila was born on August 4, 1956, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Shirley (Peridore) Pruett in Flint. Educated locally, Sheila graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1975. Sheila went on to work at GM Fisher Body and finished her career at the Buick Final Assembly location. On May 15, 1997, Sheila married the love of her life, John Price, and the two spent 35 happy years together traveling, golfing, fishing, and being the best of friends. Above all, Sheila loved to go fishing. From the day John met her, she talked about fishing all the time. Traveling was a big passion of Sheila’s, with her favorite destinations being Las Vegas, to play the slots, and Florida to enjoy the beaches. The family fondly remembers their favorite month-long vacation in Florida in 2015. On that vacation, Sheila got to spend time fishing with every family member, and playing golf for the last time with her loving husband. Sheila was a beautiful woman and loved her make-up; you couldn’t catch her without at least a small mirror to ensure her lipstick was just right. She was a kind-hearted person with a genuine love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, John; daughters: Jodi and husband, Johnnie, Amy and husband, Ed, Kristen and husband, Jay, and Kayla and husband, Joey; grandchildren, Jalen, Matthew, Nathan, Madelyn, Emily, Andrew, Bryson, Avery, Jahni, Lyric, Kason, Hudson, Brooklyn, Dawson; three great-grandchildren; siblings: Regina and husband, David, Rita, Donna and husband, Dan, Pam and Fabian, Angie, Larry and wife, Helen, Darrell and wife, Diane, and several nieces and nephews.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Fred Lewis.
