Eva was born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 13, 1950, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Mary (Rodriguez) Gonzalez. Eva met and married the love of her life, Patrocinio “JB” Ramos, on January 2, 1975. Sadly, he preceded her in death last week on October 9, 2022. Eva worked at McLaren Flint until her retirement in 2011. She was a woman of strong faith and taught her faith and all her values to her five amazing children. Eva was known for her love of cooking authentic Mexican food, especially her homemade tortillas and tamales. She was a music lover that could be heard down the street on Sunday mornings as she played Spanish music and Motown while she cleaned her home. Not only did she enjoy listening to music, but she also loved to sing and dance and teach everyone Mexican dances. Eva enjoyed bowling and was on a league at Richfield Bowl for many years. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and shopping. Secondhand stores were her all-time favorite. She could always find a good deal. Eva had a green thumb and was very proud of her vegetable garden, especially her tomatoes. Eva could often be found next to her beloved husband watching boxing or her favorite actor, Sylvester Stallone. Eva was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family with her whole heart. She was known in the neighborhood for giving everyone a nickname. Eva had a wonderful sense of humor and a love for everyone. She will be greatly missed.
