Obituary of Steven Clark Swire
Age 73, of Mount Morris, died on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. No further services are scheduled at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Steven’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Steven was born February 22, 1949, in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elton and Eileen Swire. Educated locally, Steven graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1967. After graduation, Steven answered the call to serve his country with the United States Marine Corps and fought bravely in Vietnam. Upon returning to civilian life, Steven was an FAA small plane inspector for many years. On March 25, 2017, upon reconnecting after many years, Steven married his beloved wife, Linda. He loved to ride his motorcycle, and play guitar. Steven was a kind, intelligent, gentle soul who will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Steven’s memory are his loving wife, Linda, 7 daughters, 3 sons, and 18 grandchildren, and a sister, Penny.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
