Obituary of Guy Dale Morey

Of Vassar, age 74, passed away at his home. Guy was born June 29, 1933 in Lapeer, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard K. and Dazie (Sweet) Morey.\ \ He and Patricia Enos were united in marriage June 30, 1953 in Vassar, Michigan. She preceded him in death in 2001. He retired from Bricklayers and Allied Craft Local 9 after 48 years of service. Guy served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. \ \ Surviving three children Sharon (Larry) Matthews of Caro; Kimberly (Dennis) Sargent of Grawn, Lance (Cindy) Morey of Millington; grandchildren Clint and Curtis Morey, Adam, Sarah, Kaitlin and Caleb Sargent, Ryan Ziegler; step grandchildren, John and Joe Mallard and Lindsay Paquette, sister Gloria Terry of Rochester; nieces and nephews, Steven (Cheryl) Terry, Jeffrey (Mary) Terry, Tracy (Mary Lou) Terry.\ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, and sister, Phyllis Morey.\ \ Funeral services will be held 12noon on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Martin Funeral Home in Vassar with Pastor Max McCloud officiating and burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.\ \ Family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar from 11:00am until the time of service at 12noon on Saturday.
