Obituary of Kirk Ray Blandford
Kirk Ray Blandford, age 72, of Otisville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 3, 2022. Kirk was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was known for his love of family, golfing, cooking, fishing, and always putting the needs of others before his own. Kirk was a true family man and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s number-one fan. He was an electrician at Chevy Manufacturing for 37 years and an avid artist. Kirk loved his Lord and Savior with all his being. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 52 years. Kirk and Susan were high school sweethearts and married on July 18, 1970.
Left to cherish Kirk’s memory are his loving wife, Susan; daughter, Jennifer (Dan) Barden, Jr., son, Jason (Amy) Blandford, sister, Sherry (Terry) Roe, brother, Kent Blandford; grandchildren, Kyle, Alyssa, Samantha, Connor, and Alaina; great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Ryker; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt Morris Rd, Otisville, Michigan 48463, with Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Kirk’s family will be present to receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
