Obituary of Brenda Diane Middleditch
Age 71, of Mt. Morris, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Ascension Genesys, with her family by her side. In accordance with Brenda's wishes, cremation has taken place. Brenda was born in Flint on February 17, 1951, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Laverne (Baldwin) Reaves. Brenda met and married the love of her life, John Middleditch, in 1991. Sadly, he preceded her in death on January 24, 2009. Brenda worked for Magna Electronics until her retirement in 2013. To say Brenda loved her family would be an understatement. They were her entire world, and she would do anything for them. Spending time with her grandchildren on trips to Florida and Kalahari was some of the best parts of her life. Brenda enjoyed decorating for holidays and loved to spend them with her family, playing card games like Poker and Euchre, and any other game they could. Along with her love for her family, she loved her precious dog, Bella, with all her heart. Brenda was a die-hard Notre Dame fan and also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. In her free time, Brenda could often be found playing BINGO or spending time at Saganing Eagles Landing Casino. She lived her best life and loved with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Brenda’s memory are her sons: Brian Higgins and significant other, Kim Silver, James Higgins, Richard "Ricky" and wife, Jackie Middleditch;12 grandchildren: Kirsten and husband, Jeremy, Aaron and wife, Yvette, Brook and husband, Joshua, Eli, Zachary, Hunter, Kristopher, Jada, James Jr., Miguel, Jazzmine, Shianne; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Reaves; many loving family members, and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; daughter, Tracy; sister-in-law, Nancy Reaves; stepdad, Orville Baldwin.
