Obituary of Florence Froehlich
Florence Froehlich, 70, of Flint passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her home. There are no services scheduled at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Florence’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Florence was born in Puyallup, Washington, on September 7, 1951, the daughter of Beatrice Jones. Florence graduated with the class of 1969, and with her diverse skills, she went on to work in several different fields. Florence was a butcher, worked in manufacturing, and most recently made and sold greeting cards. Florence was an avid sports fan, especially baseball, and hockey. Florence loved boating and fishing and spent much of her free time on the water. Saturdays were a highlight in Florence’s week because she would spend her mornings at the farmer's market in Port Austin.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Tiffany Barlet and Geri Froehlich; grandchildren, Shane, Catalina, Antonio, Allissa, Jerome IV, Jacob, Natasha; her brother, Michael McClurg, her sister, Patricia McClerg, her foster mother, Mary Mohs, and many beloved extended family members.
Florence was preceded in death by her son, Curt Steiner, granddaughter, Adrianna, and her mother, Beatrice.
