Obituary of Elizabeth Helen Climer
Elizabeth “Liz” Climer died July 30, 2022, at Ascension Genesys Hospital, then went home to Dancing Heaven. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mount Morris. Pastor Kevin Dixson to officiate, with burial to follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Liz’s family will be present to receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Kraphol Senior Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Liz was born in Port Huron to Julius and Elizabeth (Dally) Osko. Liz and Robert Climer were united in marriage in Flint. Liz worked at St. Joe’s and Flint General Hospitals, Van’s Photo’s, and Maplewood Manor. She was a member of Kraphol and Clio Senior Centers and the HHT Foundation.
Liz is survived by her son, Tom Climer, of Hazel Park, and granddaughter, Rachel Climer, of Flint, siblings, Teresa Loga of Mount Morris, Rose Amon of Fort Gratiot, Louis, and wife, Lenore Osko, of Bullhead, Arizona, Joe, and wife, Donna Osko of Kimball, Judge Gene, and wife, Mary Ann Osko, of Dana Point, California, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, daughter, Sandy, her parents, siblings, Rev. John Osko, Julius Osko, Staff Sargeant Frank Osko, Bobby Osko, Fred Kesner; brothers-in-law, Glenn Loga, and Ron Amon.
