Annie was born in Flint, on July 28, 1927, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony and Victoria (Kmiec) Cabin. Annie worked as a Supervisor for IMA Food Service for over 30 years, supplying food to all the automotive companies for their cafeterias. Annie was an avid bowler and traveled with her league and clubs across the country. Bowling was her passion, and she never missed a game. Annie enjoyed spending time on the local golf courses as well. Another one of her fondest memories were all the trips she made with her friends and sisters traveling to the many different casinos they came across. However, Las Vegas was her favorite, where she would spend a full month at a time. Annie loved to travel and enjoyed wintering in Florida where it was always warm. She enjoyed playing the organ and accordion and was very skilled at them both. Annie was an amazing cook and baker who was known for her delicious cabbage rolls, apple pie, and cheesecake made from scratch. Annie was a loving, caring, wonderful, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was very proud that she was able to see her family grow to five generations. She will be greatly missed. Annie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Kindred Hospice.
