Obituary of Jo Ann Detty
Age 66, of Flint, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at McLaren Flint. In accordance with Jo Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no further services scheduled at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Jo’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Jo Ann was born in Jackson Colt, Ohio, on June 11, 1955, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin and Martha Detty. Jo Ann married Jack Klebs, and their union bore two wonderful children. Sadly, he preceded her in death in April of 2009. Jo Ann worked as a cook most of her life. She loved to cook and was famous for her delicious chili. Jo Ann enjoyed playing BINGO anywhere she could. Going to the beach was one of her favorite pastimes. Jo Ann was a wonderful mother and loved having family get-togethers where she could spend her day with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Jo Ann leaves to cherish her memory her children: Anna Klebs and fiance, Michael Cockcroft, and Chad Klebs and fiancee, Charlene Turner; grandchildren: Faith Cockroft, Jonathan Cockroft, Chasssidy Boyette, Chad Klebs, Jr., Julius Klebs, Saphire Klebs; great-grandson: Jeremy; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters: Geneva, and Ethel.
