Obituary of Ann Marie Richards
Of Clio, age 68, died Monday, March 21, 2022, at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Daniel Shinabarger to officiate. Honoring her wishes, cremation will follow. Ann’s family will be present to receive friends and family from 10:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Ann was born December 24, 1953, in Flint to Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Sharon (Murphy) Hamilton. She was a Clio resident for the past 25 years. Ann married James Richards on December 11, 1998. Ann worked as a Paraprofessional for the Mt. Morris School district for over 25 years until her retirement in 2015. She had a passion for working with children and loved them all. Ann was an active member of the Clio Cast and Crew, with her favorite role being the wicked witch in The Wizard of Oz, but any theatre work was what she loved. Ann also enjoyed spending time, line dancing. In her free time. She enjoyed crafting and sewing.
Left to cherish Ann’s memory is her husband, James; mother, Sharon Secord; daughter, Rebecca (Jim) Stadler; grandchildren: Harlie Burtch, Levi Bamford, Madelyn Holifield, Caleb Stadler, Merci Bamford, Tameron Richards, Aidan Richards; stepchildren: Jeffrey and wife, Heather Richards, Marie and husband, Preston Parrish; brother, Cliff Hamilton; nieces: Jade and Jasmine Hamilton, and countless friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Randi Marie Bamford; father, Albert Hamilton; and brother Albert (Randy) Hamilton.
