Marvin was born in Flint, on February 9, 1967, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and Janice (Thompson) Miller. Educated locally, he graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School with the Class of 1985. Marvin worked as a Lumberman. In high school, he enjoyed playing football and baseball. To say Marvin was a Michigan fan would be an understatement. He loved everything about Michigan football. Marvin was a very helpful person and would often help his mother and his aunt with things around the house. He enjoyed putting up the solar lights in the garden and just spending time outdoors. Sitting around the bonfire with his family was his favorite pastime. In his younger years, Marvin enjoyed bowling and traveling South where it was warm. Marvin also was an avid NASCAR fan and followed Dale Earnhardt and then Dale Jr. His family meant the world to him. He loved his son and his grandchildren unconditionally. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish Marvin’s memory is his mother, Janice Miller; son, Tyler Miller; grandchildren: Bentley, Ruger, Kingsly; brother, Richard Miller; best friends: David Newman and Phillip Newman; longtime friends, Christal and husband, Brian Hart; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Marvin was preceded in death by his father, and good friends: Scott Williamson, and Smitt Lap.
