Donald “Don” was born in Flint, on September 20, 1960, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William and Joyce (Fish) Meyer. Don enlisted and proudly served in the United States Army. He met and was married to the love of his life, Sarah Parker, on September 14, 2018, at Dow Gardens in Midland. Don was an Emergency Roadside Assistant. Don loved driving the flatbed and was so great at his work. Don was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh. He loved the outdoors hunting with his wife and teaching her about hunting. He also loved hunting with his dad, brothers, son, daughters, and grandsons. He was honored to have been able to teach his children and grandchildren all he knew about hunting. He loved his kids and family unconditionally and was so proud to be a grandpa. He also adored his dogs, Saoirse and Leia, and spoiled them daily. Don loved his in-laws as if they were blood, and he considered his father and mother-in-law to be a second set of parents. He was the most caring, loving, and devoted husband.
