Obituary of Clemie Estell May

Of Flint, age 93, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice. The funeral service will take place 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dale Pattee will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:30 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Clemie was born September 15, 1920 in Fulton, Mississippi the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Effie (Clark) Honeycutt. She and Duff May were united in marriage on August 19, 1939. Sadly, he preceded her death in 1967. In her free time she enjoyed cooking. Her family loved her southern fried chicken, beans, and cornbread. Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Darlene Jones and husband, Ernest; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; sister, Louise; many neices; nephews; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duff; twin daughters, Bobbie and Billie; and grand daughter Selena.
