Irma was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on March 18, 1946, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso and Victoria (Ramon) DeLeon. Irma was a homemaker, raising her six children. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. Irma met, fell in love with and married Andres Perez on May 17, 1991 at the Burton Eagles Club, sadly he preceded her in death. Irma was very proud of her Hispanic culture. Irma’s family get-togethers were always a wonderful time! She enjoyed playing music and dancing with her large family. Her family always looked forward to her tamales, they were the best. Having a big, loving family also meant many sporting and school events, Irma tried to make it to every event she could. She really enjoyed watching her grandchildren play football and baseball, along with many other sports and events. Irma could be picked out in a crowd with her infectious smile, heartfelt laugh and her dress to impress looks. When not entertaining family, Irma enjoyed trips to her sisters lake house on Lake Nepessing. Tending to her yard work and flower gardens, no one could do them justice quite like she could. Irma loved going to the casino, she loved the thrill of it and the whole atmosphere. She also enjoyed garage sales, sewing, collecting her elephant novelties and of course her Novellas. Most of all Irma loved her family.
