Obituary of Iva Jean Hinze
Age 78, of Goodrich, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Ascension Genesys. A private family graveside service will take place at the Mt. Morris Cemetery. Pastor Ralph Pieper to officiate. Iva was born in Elmhurst, Illinois, on June 13, 1943, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul W. and Caroline W. (Gerlach) Hinze. When Iva was very young, her family moved to Florida before moving to Michigan where she was raised in the Davison area. Iva was baptized on August 20, 1972, at the Richfield United Methodist Church in Davison. Shopping was one of the many hobbies Iva enjoyed. She could often be found watching her favorite TV shows. Working with her photo albums and scrapbooking is how she enjoyed spending her days. Iva loved birthdays parties, especially her own. She loved to spend time with her family. Her nieces and nephews were very special to her. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish Iva’s memory are her brother, Fredrick and wife, Karmolee Hinze, from Otisville and her sister, Sandra and husband, Richard Kaiser, from Davison; nieces: Julie DeMaria, Karrine O'Neal, Kendra Bailey, nephews: Joseph Kaiser, Paul Kaiser, Luke Kaiser; numerous cousins and friends.
Iva was preceded in death by her parents; nephews: twins, Marvin James Hinze, Melvin Joseph Hinze.
