Obituary of Pamela Ann Cameron
Age 59, of Clio, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at home with her family by her side. In accordance with Pamela’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 12:00 noon, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pamela's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 noon. Pamela was born in Flint on November 1, 1961, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Constance Simonson. Educated locally, she graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School with the Class of 1979. Pamela met the love of her life, Jeffrey Cameron, in 1977, and the two were united in marriage on August 9, 1980, at their home in Mt. Morris. Pamela worked for General Motors on the Assembly Line until her retirement in 2011. After her retirement, she started working as a bookkeeper for the White Oil Company until 2015.
Pamela was an excellent cook and baker with her specialties including, meatloaf, lasagna, and cabbage rolls and baking her banana cake with peanut butter frosting. She loved crafting, especially making floral arrangements. In her free time, Pamela enjoyed reading, especially Harry Potter and the Twilight series. Pamela loved to go boating out on the water, she didn't care where, as long as she was with her family. Spending time with her family was of utmost importance to her.
Left to cherish Pamela’s memory are her loving husband of 41 years, Jeffrey Cameron; father, Gerald Simonson; daughter, Amber and husband, Jon Bradley; brother, David Simonson; granddaughter; Kirsten Bradley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pamela was preceded in death by her mother and several aunts and uncles.
