Pat was born in Blackduck, Minnesota, on July 4, 1955, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin and Margaret (Neft) Erickson. Educated locally, Pat graduated from Grand Blanc High School with the Class of 1973. She continued her education and went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She started her career working for McLaren Hospital as a Registered Nurse in 1978. Pat met and married the love of her life Robert Herrmann, on September 1, 1978, at Holy Family Church in Grand Blanc. A Boy Scout leader, with 30 years of service, Pat also organized Eagle Boards of Review for the Water and Woods council and was the store manager for the Boy Scout Shop. Her impact on the Boy Scout family is still felt today. Pat was well known as a leader and was honored with the Silver Beaver Award for her Boy Scout leadership role. She was a member of Saint Rita’s guild at Holy Family. Pat and Bob enjoyed traveling all over Michigan in their motor home. She really enjoyed "Stampin up," creating her own cards to give to people for any occasion. In her free time, she enjoyed cake decorating and going to the casino, but most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed.
