Gloria was born Gloria Marie Fejedelem, the first and only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Iola M. (Nottingham) Fejedelem on February 3, 1947, at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, Michigan. She lived in the Flint area her entire life, graduating from Michael H. Hamady High School with the Class of 1965. Gloria retired in 2013 from FirstMerit Bank, formally Citizens Bank, after 15 years of employment. She spent most of her retirement years enjoying life with family and friends. Among her many interests were sewing, working in her yard, reading, camping, clogging, ballroom, swing, and line dancing. Her listening enjoyment included bluegrass, both classic and today's country, and rock & roll from the '50s and '60s. Gloria's most awesome and memorable event was the births of her children.
Left to cherish Gloria’s memory are her favorite daughter: Jacki (Tony) Hajdu, and her favorite son: Tim (Lisa) Wood; brothers: George (Linda) Fejedelem and Richard (Claudia) Fejedelem; grandchildren: Brian, Isabella, Casey (William), Joshua, Alexandra, Parker; great-grandchildren: Abigayl, Isaiah, Noah, Grayson; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Curry House in Cadillac for the wonderful care, love, and compassion they showed Gloria.
