Mark was born in Flint on August 1, 1957, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. and Mildred (Stout) Michael. Mark was a funny, happy-go-lucky person, who enjoyed playing pranks and practical jokes on people. As an avid lover of music, Mark listened to all genres from the '70s and '80s. He enjoyed going on car rides with his brother, Bud, and they did that often. Puzzles were his passion and he always had one he was working on. Mark was a handy person when it came to his stereo systems. He had many different styles of stereos and mixers that he enjoyed tinkering with and updating. Above all else, Mark loved his family.
Left to cherish Mark’s memory are his mother, Mildred Michael; siblings: Gloria Maddock, Jeff and wife, Terry Michael, Marilyn and husband, Eddie Thompson, Kerry Michael, Judy Nichols, and Rick Jennings, Lloyd Michael; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Michael, siblings: Kathy Dallaire, Kenneth Michael; brothers-in-law: Fredrick Maddock, Greg Dallaire, nephew, Brandon, and his favorite dog, Brutus.
