Age 82, of Mt. Morris, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at home with his family by his side. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Jim’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.

 

Jim was born on July 28, 1939, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen and Mary Dunn. Educated locally, Jim graduated from Flint Central High School with the Class of 1957. After graduation, Jim enlisted in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division until his honorable discharge. Upon his return to the states, Jim continued to sky dive with a record of 500 jumps. Jim went to work for AC Spark Plug as a Foreman until his retirement in 1992. He was known for his love of rebuilding old cars. Jim loved to spend time with his family at his home in St. James City, Florida. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and close friends.

 

Left to cherish Jim’s memory are his special love, Lorraine Burt; daughter, Kelly and husband, David Green; grandchildren: Zack and wife, Kelli Csutoras, Devin Dunn; great-grandchildren: Carter Csutoras and Kendall Csutoras; brothers: Ron Dunn and Rick Bush; special friend, Joann Dunn.

 

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two sons.
