Robin went on to obtain her associate's degree from Mott Community College in Education. Robin worked for PetSmart for over eighteen years; her love for animals led her to become an animal rescuer which included dogs, cats, ferrets as well as exotic animals such as alligators. She loved her dogs: Ruby and Albert.
Robin adored her children and grandchildren, she was a great knitter and crocheter, and was very good at making ponchos, scarves, blankets, hair ties; she even made her children's clothes when they were little. Robin took care of all the kids that needed a place to stay and was known for being a down-to-earth, social butterfly.
