Obituary of Marleah Evelyn Foster

Age 84, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, at McLaren Flint. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 12:00 pm, Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. In accordance with Marleah’s wishes cremation will then take place. The family will be present to receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services on Tuesday, April 27, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Tuesday evening, family, friends and parish will gather at the funeral home for a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 pm. On Wednesday morning, Mrs. Foster will be taken to church to lie in state from 11:00 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm in which time the family will be present to receive friends at the church. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to The American Red Cross. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church. Marleah was born in Flint, Michigan, on May 31, 1936, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Harold and Ava (Kelly) Euper. She met, fell in love with, and was married to the love of her life Sidney Foster on September 22, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, at the office of the Justice of the Peace. Marleah was a Machine Operator for AC Spark Plug until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church for a long time. Marleah loved family gatherings, Christmas celebrations were always the highlight of her year. She was very opinionated and while you didn't have to agree with her you couldn't ignore her. Marleah liked books and loved to read. In her free time, Marleah enjoyed Nascar, Notre Dame Football, music, and movies.
Marleah leaves to cherish her memory husband of 70 years: Sidney Foster; twin sons: Dan and Don Foster; three grandsons: Dan, Mike and wife, Tracy Foster, Jason J. Foster, Brian Foster; granddaughter: Angela Renee Jones; great-grandchildren: Felicia, Alicen, Nathan, Kaylee, Matthew, McKenzie, Jacob, Emma, Mya; four great-great-grandchildren with 1 more on the way; brother: Lloyd Euper; favorite cat: Fuzzy; two very dear friends: Mayjo and Ora.
She was preceded in death by son: Sidney Foster; and brother: Norman Euper.
