Age 78, of Clio, died Friday, April 16, 2021, at home. In accordance with Marcia’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be shared on Marcia's tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com
Marcia was born in Flint, Michigan on November 10, 1942, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Alice (Halitsky) Nestor. Born and raised locally, Marcia graduated from Beecher High School with the Class of 1961. Marcia met, fell in love with Darwin Wheeler. The two were united in marriage on September 7, 1963, at the First Presbyterian Church of Flint. Marcia enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing. A few of her favorite spots were Benzonia and Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Marcia was a wonderful cook, she enjoyed family gatherings, giving everyone a chance to eat and share laughter. Marcia was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department in Mt. Morris Michigan. Most of all Marcia enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, taking them on trips, and enjoying the small things in life. Marcia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Left to cherish Marcia’s memory are her loving husband of 57 years: Darwin, son: Scott and wife, Marianne Wheeler; grandson: Zachary and fiancée, Kelli Wheeler; granddaughter: Samantha and husband, Timothy Dodd, Jr., Alisha and husband, Jeffery Edgecombe; great-grandchildren: Peyton, Kennedy, Easton, Kason; niece: Cheryl and husband, David Hager; nephews: Timothy and Larry Nestor; brother: Paul and wife, Rita Nestor; brother-in-law: Thomas Skinner; and special friend: Gloria Stadler.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Sandra Skinner.
