Age 88, of Clio, died Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Serenity Assisted Living. In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Condolences may be shared on Nancy's tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Nancy was born in Wheatcroft, Kentucky on May 14, 1932, the daughter of Evert and Hazel (Heady) Littlepage. Raised and educated in Detroit, after graduation, Nancy went on to college while working in the medical field as a clerk. She then pursued a career in food, gift-producing, and retail with Harry & David Food Company until her retirement in 2015. Nancy was a performer as a Shrine Circus clown for many years, she loved making people of all ages smile. She was known for sewing clothing for herself and others; she was a beautiful seamstress. Nancy loved to cook and bake, finding any reason for a gathering so she could try a new recipe and see others enjoy it. As a sociable person, Nancy enjoyed garage sales, shopping, and craft shows. Nancy was also an active member of the Eastern Star for many years. Nancy met and fell in love with James (Jim) Stevens; the two were united in marriage on January 24, 2014. Their love was a match made it heaven; everyone around could see and feel their love. Nancy was kind-hearted, a good wife, mother, grandmother, and sister; a friend to all, and loved everyone she met.
Left to cherish her memory are: her loving husband James (Jim) Stevens; children: Christopher and wife, Patricia, Judy, Pauline, Kim, Candice, and Jerome; step-children: James Jr., Debbie, and husband, Randy, Carol and husband, James, Kit and wife, Bonnie and Nancy; brothers: William and wife Linda, Richard and wife Carole, sister: Ruth, 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and many other loved ones.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
