Obituary of Jeannine Marie Lowell

Age 84, of Clio, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Tuesday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather at the funeral home for a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. On Wednesday morning, Mrs. Lowell will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to a Catholic Charity of their choice or the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church. Jeannine was born in Flint, Michigan, on December 21, 1936, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. and Pearl S. (Raymond) Dinse. Jeannine began her career as a cafeteria employee at Flint Osteopathic Hospital from 1982 until the hospital closed. She then transferred over to Genesys Hospital working there until her retirement. She was also an Avon representative for 15 years. A member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Mt. Morris, Jeannine attended throughout her life. Jeannine was a private person who was close to her family. They were the most important aspect of her life. She enjoyed family gatherings and baking with her family, she always made enough to share with her friends. Jeannine had a deep love for her family and her entire life revolved around taking care of them. She enjoyed going to lunch with her nieces and baking apple pies in the fall. Sometimes she would work all day long and bake up to 30 apple pies after work, which she would then freeze and get out throughout the year. Jeannine was a generous person and loved to give to Coats for Kids and Toys for Tots making sure to donate items every year. In her free time, Jeannine enjoyed word search puzzles, dot to dot, going to rummage sales, and crafts.
Jeannine leaves to cherish her memory; one son: John and wife, Charlotte Lowell; two daughters: Pamala and husband, Charles Gincel, Vicky and husband, Scott White; 11 grandchildren: Amy, Nickolas, Amanda, Michael, Amy, Lindsey, Miranda, Diana, Angela, Christopher, Tiffany; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandson: Jason Corcoran; siblings: Robert and wife, Dorothy Dinse, Joyce and husband, Jack Auld, Maxine Thomas; her closest and dearest friend, Sue Webber.
