Age 84, of Flushing, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at McLaren Flint. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Dennis Tanner to officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Frank was born on December 15, 1936, in Flint, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Mary (Papp) Cormos. He was raised and educated locally in Davison. As a young man, Frank was working at Hamady Brothers when he met the beautiful ice cream shop employee next door, Jackoline. The two dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 26, 1959, in Mt. Morris at the home of Pastor Tate. In 1955, Frank began his career at General Motors, working as a crane operator until his retirement in 1989. After retirement, Frank had more time to do what he loved, working in his yard and on his vehicles. Frank took great pride in his cars. He enjoyed working in his garage, whether it was on one of his vehicles or lawnmowers. Frank would often attend auto shows at Sloan Museum and Back to the Bricks. Frank enjoyed sitting outside on his swing on a nice day, admiring his lawn.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Jackoline “Jackie”; children: Martin and wife, Judy Ware, Laura Lambert, Mark and wife, Tabitha Ware; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ardith Russell, Ruthann, and husband, JT Kinder, Janet and husband, Ken Fry; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Richard Ware, David Ware; and sister: Marge Conkright.
