Age 59, of Clio, died Monday, February 8, 2021. David’s family will be present to receive friends and family at Martin Funeral, Cremation, and Tribute Services in Mt. Morris from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2021. Memorial contributions may be considered to the charity of one's choice. David was born in Flint, Michigan on August 31, 1961, to Mr. Gordon Pete and Ms. Barbara (Bindscheatel) Murray. Raised and educated locally, David graduated with the Class of 1979. After high school, David went on to obtain his journeyman license and began his career working out of the Local Union #7 as a Sheet Metal Worker until his retirement in 2002. David loved the outdoors, he was proud of and enjoyed tending to his large garden in his back yard. David enjoyed spending time with friends on the Saginaw River fishing, he especially loved fishing for Walleye. In the fall and winter months, David loved to deer hunt in Midland. His favorite times were spent with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Left to cherish David’s memory are his mother: Barbara Murray; daughters: Tara and husband, Thomas Baryo; Theresa and, Tony (Liguori) Stacy; grandchildren: Braedyn, Makenna, Landen, Alivia, Brooklynn; siblings: Debra Richards, Sheri, and husband, Jeff McKinley, Michael and wife, Andrea Murray, Mark and wife, Justin Murray; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
David was preceded in death by his father; his step-father: Elvin Murray; and brother: Ricky Stacy.
