Betty was born in Flint, on October 7, 1954, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Louise (Davis) LeDeur. Educated locally, Betty graduated from Davison High School with the Class of 1973. During her schooling, she worked at Big Boy and then transferred to Denny's before settling at Saturn, where she worked on the production line until Saturn's closure and her retirement in 2008. Betty often volunteered at Riverside Tabernacle in Flint to help with the food distribution. Betty met, fell in love with, and was married to the love of her life, Leslie Randall, on June 1, 1974, in Davison, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Flint. She loved the outdoors, especially her flower garden, and would often help her daughter with her garden. Betty enjoyed camping especially her yearly trip to Wolverine Campground. As a young girl, Betty began camping in a tent, later in life, moving to a travel trailer. Betty liked to sit in the sand at the beach and play with her grandkids. She enjoyed bowling every Friday on a league and always beat her husband, Leslie. In her free time, Betty enjoyed baking bread and cookies, especially at the holidays, and going above and beyond decorating for the holidays.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 46 years: Leslie Randall; children: James Randall, Crystal Randall, Amanda and husband, Sean Dietlein; grandchildren: Kristen, Alexis, Maycie, Hayden, Ashten, Miley, Kayonna, Aviana; siblings: Mary Bailey, Steve and wife, Susan LeDeur, Cheryl and husband, Rich Cates; her wonderful dog, Brandy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and niece, Heather Elkhorn.
