Buddy Ray, I love you. We have talked about this many times. You are part of my childhood and I have wonderful memories. I remember you always had my back. When I was very young and would sing, I was never worried about anything, because you were there keeping me on task. I will miss our conversations and talks, but I will remember you always.

For many years Bud was my favorite cousin and one of my very best friends. We fished together, went sight-seeing together, made "mater" juice together, and shared many good times together along with our wives! He was an expert on the guitar, an avid and expert gardener and a great fisherman. He could clean and filet a bluegill in 30 seconds!. As long as I live I will cherish his wonderful memory. I know I will miss his almost daily phone calls from Michigan to Georgia. He was truly one of a kind. His love for Linda was never in doubt. Love you Bud, rest in Heaven and play in the heavenly choir.

I sure would have loved to make him fried green tomatoes. He lived it when I made them for the family. The tomatoes came right out of his garden. And boy could he grow a garden. Love you Papa, you will be forever missed.

So sorry for the loss of Bud. My condolences to his friends and family. I haven’t seen Bud in a long time but was so very touched when he came to my fathers showing in 1993. Prayers for family.
