Obituary of Jim Morrow

Age 77, of Clio, died Thursday, December 17, 2020, at his home. In accordance with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no further services scheduled. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Jim’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Jim was born in Okolona, Mississippi, on May 19, 1943, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eber James and Mintee (Fields) Morrow. Jim heeded the call to proudly serve his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on December 4, 1972. Jim was a chef for Aramark Restaurant in the Grand Blanc General Motors plant until his retirement in 2005. After his retirement, Jim opened his own lawn care business named Big Jim’s Lawn Service. Jim was best known for all things Bar-B-Que. In his free time, he enjoyed mowing the lawn, cooking, fishing, and playing the lottery, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Left to cherish Jim’s memory; children: Michael Aubrey Morrow and Jenny and husband, Keith Bollinger; grandchildren: Tiffany and husband, Scott Roy, Kyle (Kaylea Conner) Bollinger, Michiko Morrow; great-grandchildren: Grace Roy, Max Roy, Allie Bollinger, baby boy Bollinger, Ella Baldwin, Harper Conner; siblings: Zana Ulastine Jackson of Kalamazoo, MI, Mary Nell Hankins of Lansing, MI, Juanella Morrow, Eric Morrow, Regina Morrow, and Lamont Morrow all of Mississippi; special nieces and nephews: Sean Hankins, Allen Hankins, Christine Graves, Rondal Smith, Sophia Morrow, Carl Wayne Townsend, Wanda Jones, Otis Jones, William Jones, Santo Jones, Anthony Jones, Kenneth Jones, Sheila Jones, Ann Morrow, Lola Morrow, Christy Morrow, James Morrow, and Glenn Morrow; special friend and love of his life, Bev Morris; special friends and loved ones: William Hankins, Stella (Foxfire), Cardell Sanders, Alan and Peggy Dodds and his favorite dog, Buster Brown.
