Obituary of Rosalie Caroline Crawford

Age 96, of Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Martin Funeral Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Kevin Dixson to officiate with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Rosalie was born in Bay City on May 5, 1924, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George N. and Rosalie (LaFever) Davidson, Sr. Rosalie grew up on her family farm and attended the Bay City Public Schools, graduating from Bay City High School. Rosalie met and married the love of her life, Leslie Crawford, on August 7, 1946, in Birch Run. Sadly, he preceded her in death in June 2001. Shortly after the two were married, they moved to Mt. Morris, where she would find work at General Motors on the Assembly Line for AC Spark Plug until her retirement. She was a member of the UAW #651. After retirement, Rosalie worked as a buyer for the Fair Store. She loved her family intensely and had an excellent sense of humor. Rosalie was deeply devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and a staunch defender of God. In her free time, Rosalie enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, attending family gatherings, going on bus tours, and traveling to Tawas with her family.
Rosalie leaves to cherish her memory: three children: Maxine and husband, Gary Tanner, Leslie and wife, Christine Crawford, and Matthew Crawford; five grandchildren: Krysta Tanner, Gary Dean and wife, Bethany Tanner, Nathan and wife, Layla Tanner, Nicole and husband, David Bouchard, and Leslie Jr. and wife, Maria Crawford; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
