Obituary of Kendall John Myers

Age 30, of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at his home. In accordance with Kendall's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 10, 2021, the time and location to be announced. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Kendall's tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com. Kendall was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on July 7, 1990, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lee and Carrie J (Dowell) Myers II. Graduating from Thurston High School in Springfield, Oregon, with the Class of 2008, Kendall would then go on to work as a tow truck operator at SWAT Towing in Oregon for several years before moving to Michigan. Kendall grew up in a military family and was able to experience living in many different places throughout the United States. Kendall was a sports fan and enjoyed watching Michigan Football. He specifically liked the LA Lakers and Detroit Tigers. Kendall loved being an uncle to his three nephews; he had a heart of gold and will be missed by many. He was kind-hearted, generous, able to relate well to others, and had a good sense of humor. In his free time, Kendall enjoyed going to the beach, swimming, and longboarding.
Kendall leaves to cherish his memory his mom and step-dad: Carrie and Tharon Larson; step-dad: Travis Hacker; grandparents: Barb and John Schanick, Cathy and Glen Hacker; great-grandma; Betty Holmes; three sisters: Melissa Myers and husband Marcus Heyer, Marcella and husband, Eric Smith, Hannah Hacker and husband, John Croyle; step-brother: Chase Larson; three nephews: Braylon, Bentlee, and Cooper; uncles: Pat and wife, Mary Dowell, and Mark Hacker; aunt, Cheryl Griffith; several other aunts, uncles and cousins, friends: Cory Coleman, Tim Autele and Honey Ah Sam; and his beloved dog, Cheeka.
Kendall was preceded in death by his dad, Clyde Lee Myers II; grandparents: Shirley and Bob Boone; uncle, Billy Dowell; auntie, Margie Ah Sam; cousin: William Dowell; and his best friend Derek Jones.
