Sandi was born January 17, 1944, in Saginaw, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm and Lucille (Spooner) Clements. Raised in Saginaw, Sandi was educated locally, graduating from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1962. Sandi was a devoted stay at home mother of two daughters before entering the workforce as a clerk at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. While working at the hospital, Sandi would meet the love of her life, Dr. Eldon Vance. The two dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage. Together, Sandi and Eldon raised their four children in Genesee while working together in their family medical practice. In her free time, Sandi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, tending to her beautiful flowers, making crafts, and going to the movies. Sandi was a great woman who was loving and supportive to all people that crossed her path. She was a dedicated mother, first and foremost. Sandi treasured her family and embraced every moment with them; she especially loved her role as grandma.
Sandi will be sorely missed and is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Eldon Vance; mother, Lucille Clements; two daughters: Traci and husband, Angel Corchado, Piper and husband, Jim Cauley; two sons: Dr. Mark Vance and Dr. John Vance; 15 grandchildren: Nicollette Corchado, Matthew Corchado (Hailee), Jermaine Corchado (Stacey), Francine Corchado, Landen Cauley, Alexis Vance (Quentin Boll), Paige Vance, Shaili Vance, Joshua LaGuire (Bayley), Alisha Terry (Brandon), Kylie Vance (Brendan Carlson), Johnathan Vance, Carmen Hawley, Alex Cavazos (Sara), and Hannah Morse; sister, Beverly Palmer, brother, Anson “Rocky” (Jill) Clements; sister-in-law, Connie Clements, and several nieces and nephews.
