Obituary of Jocarey Demond Adams

Mr. Jocarey Demond Adams, age 41, died Saturday, October 10, 2020, surrounded by his family. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Jocarey’s family will be present to receive friends from 12:00 pm, until the time of service at 1:00. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Jacarey’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Mr. Jocarey Demond Adams was born March 24, 1979, in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Bailey R. Williams and Carla (Cary) Gill. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. He loved music and video games, but one of his favorite things was grilling for his family and friends.
Mr. Jocarey Demond Adams leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 3 years (together 16 years) Melinda; one son: Donovan, both of Oscoda, Michigan; parents: Carla (Cary) Gill, mother-in-law: Tammy (John) Hunt, father-in-law: Brent Benson(Cathy Chaplin), all of Flint, Michigan; brother: Cary Adam Gill of flint, Michigan; brother-in-law: Ryan (Geri) Benson, of Kincheloe, Michigan; sister-in-law: Kristy Clutler, of Bay City, Michigan; grandparents: Eurdis and Gloria Adams of Winnsboro, Louisiana, aunts and uncles: Sherrie (Wesley) Thomas, Barbara (Gerand) Williams-Young, Vivian (James) Patrick, all of Flint, Michigan, Glenn (Lisa) Williams, Jennifer Weaver, Michael Richmond all of Flushing, Michigan, Kenneth (Jen) Weaver of Fenton, Michigan, Joe (Teresa) Breed of Cheboygan, Michigan, Sheree (Mitchell) Holden of Toledo, Ohio, Eurdis Jr (Coleen) Adams of Winnsboro, Louisiana, godmother: Gloria Adams; godsister; Connie (Lester) Stanton; and a host of other family and friends.
We want to say thank you to our family, our many friends, and our church family. We thank you for the visits, text messages, your calls, the food, it all begins there for us. The countless acts of kindness, but most of all, your blessings and prayers. May God bless each and everyone and sustain a lasting peace within your souls.
