Obituary of Victoria Soto Aguilar

Age 73, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Hurley Medical Center surrounded by her family. A family graveside service will take place at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Victoria was born in Bryan, Texas, on July 12, 1947. She is the daughter of Mr. Celso Sifuentes and Mrs. Josephine Gonzalez. Victoria met and married Jose Aguilar. Sadly, he preceded her in death on February 4, 2013. Victoria worked as a Health Care Provider for Swank nursing home until her retirement. In her free time, Victoria enjoyed bowling, knitting, playing pool, completing puzzles and word search puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.
Left to cherish Victoria’s memory are her four children: Clara (Andre) Edwards, Daniel Aguilar, Jesus (Shannon) Aguilar and Victoria Aguilar; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; siblings: Margarita (David) Flores, Amalia (Lyle) Duckwall, Edubina Dean, and Ralph Gonzalez; extended family: Shawntika Davis, La'Tea Davis; and many other family members and friends. Victoria's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hurley Medical Center who cared for her.
Victoria was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose; sisters: Anna Marie Wilhelm and Irma Addison; brother: Jose Gonzales; aunts: Alvina and Manuela.
