Obituary of Barbara Ann Blandford

Age 82, of Mt. Morris, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020, at McLaren Flint with her family by her side. A graveside service will take place at 2:30 pm, Friday, September 11, 2020, at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Barbara was born in Richfield Twp. on January 2, 1938, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon and Nina (Brown) Sebert. Barbara met and married the love of her life, Gerald Blandford, on October 20, 1956. Sadly, he preceded her in death on March 16, 1986. Barbara worked as a school bus driver for Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools for 34 years, until her retirement in 1993. Barbara was a member of the camping club NCHA #195 and enjoyed camping all over Michigan and the United States. Every Friday night, Barbara bowled on a bowling league at Northwest Bowling Alley and then Colonial Lanes ending each year bowling in the Nationals. In her free time, Barbara enjoyed traveling, dancing, doing arts and crafts, going to rummage sales but most important to her was spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish Barbara’s memory are her daughter: Jodi Robinson; sons: Scott and wife, Celene Blandford, Randall and wife, Dianna Blandford, Dennis and wife, Alice Blandford, Harold and wife, Jamie Blandford; sisters: Berniece Nelson, Nancy and husband, Ernest Burns, Glennadine Ruggels, Vivian Barden, Sue DeVary; brother: Bud and wife, Ginger Sebert; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother: Bernard Sebert; sisters: Eleanor Crampton, Mary Ellen Dolliver.
