Obituary of Charlotte Ann Harris

Age 53, of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at her home. In accordance with Charlotte's wishes, cremation has taken place. Charlotte's family will be present to receive friends from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at Martin Funeral Cremation and Tribute Services in Grand Blanc. Charlotte was born in Detroit, on February 20, 1967, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Carrine (Kuikendall) Wuerges. Raised in Oscoda, Michigan, Charlotte was educated locally, graduating from Oscoda High School with the Class of 1985. She would continue her education at Michigan State University, where she studied social work. Charlotte worked at Livingston County Community Mental Health Facility for many years, before going to work for Ascension Genesys' Nutrition Department. Charlotte was an avid reader, enjoyed going on cruises, and playing pool.
Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Courtney Booms, and Erika Booms; son, Dakota Johnson; mother, Carrine Kuikendall; brother, Curtis Pearson; and sister, Debra Parent.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her father.
