Blanche was born in Little Falls, Minnesota, on March 8, 1935, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Gertrude (Lund) Kujacznski. Blanche’s family moved to Michigan when she was a young girl for her dad to work at General Motors. Raised in Flint, she attended school locally at Sacred Heart Catholic School and went on to graduate from Kearsley High School. She and William “Bill” Bennett were married on October 21, 1950; their union was blessed with eight children; sadly, Bill preceded her in death on April 10, 2006. Blanche was a devout member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and in her early years, she was a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she played the organ and piano. Blanche was a devoted wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma, who loved spending time with her family. She was a great cook and homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, riding behind Bill on their Harley, vacationing at the family cottage on Secord Lake, playing cards, and going to the casinos.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Janet Yard, Michael Bennett, James and wife Diane Bennett, John and wife Cheryl Bennett, Robert and wife Tammy Bennett, Mark and wife Elise Bennett, and Richard and wife Angie Bennett, 31 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Jim Kujacznski, Dan Kujacznski, Roman Kujacznski, and Tim Kujacznski; two sisters: Kathleen Zielinski, and Alana Ellis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: William “Bill” Bennett; son, William “Bill” Bennett; son-in-law, Michael Yard; daughters-in-law: Beth Bennett and Connie Bennett; three grandchildren: Steven Bennett, Raedene Cole, and Scott Sutherby; two great-grandchildren: Tristen Jacob and Knox Bennett; two brothers Raymond Kujacznski, Thomas Kujacznski; and two sisters: Michelle Kujacznski and Audrey Cronk.
A special thanks to her sons and their spouses, Bill, Mike, Jim and Diane, Rob and Tammy, and Rich and Angie and their children for standing by her side and making mom happy for the last several years.
