Obituary of Vera Lydia Pashby

Age 88, peacefully went to Heaven on August 8, 2020. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Vera’s family requests no gifts or flower arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Vera’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Vera was born on April 24, 1932, in Bridgeport, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin and Lydia (Keinath) Knoll. Raised in the Frankenmuth area, Vera was educated locally. Vera would meet Donald Pashby while working at Universal Engineering; the two dated, fell in love and were united in marriage on April 24, 1953. Sadly, Donald preceded her in death on March 27, 2017.
Vera was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She served many years as a Boy Scout Leader and the head cook at Boy Scout Camp. Vera will be remembered for her baking, cooking, quilting, and crafting. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and the many hours spent canning from her vegetable garden. Vera and husband, Donald, with their children, loved camping and traveling many states throughout the U.S.

Vera is proceeded in death by father Edwin; mother, Lydia; and her husband, Donald.
