Obituary of Richard Allan Barrett, II

Age 23, of Alger, formerly of Mt. Morris, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. In accordance with Richie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy and memorial contributions may be directed to Richie's tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.
Richie was born on April 8, 1997, in Grand Blanc. He is the son of Mr. Richard Barrett and Ms. Brenda Ralston.
Educated locally, Richie graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School with the Class of 2015. During his high school career, Richie could always be found in the gym, either wrestling or lifting weights. His main goal in life was to be the very best he could be and spread his love to all who knew him. Richie was known for his bear hugs and infectious smile that lit up every room he entered. Richie was a part of the LIUNA Local #1075 Carpenters Union and a member of the City Church in Clio. Richie spent his free time riding four-wheeler's, hiking in the woods, playing with his dog, Blu, wood carving, and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish Richie’s memory are his mother, Brenda Ralston; brother, James Ralston; niece, Lilyana and nephew, Jason Ralston; aunt, Cindy Ralston; uncle, Dennis and wife, Mary Mallory; grandfather, James Ralston, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Richie was preceded in death by his father, Richard Barrett, grandparents: Joyce Ralston, Betty Lou Barrett and Jojo, Donald Barrett and cousins, Michael Hall, and Ciara Barrett.
